It was so hard to re-live our plans for the day. How our day actually unfolded. How we got the news, and the aftermath.
I put off writing about it for four months. Even though I knew it would help process everything.
Everything was in pieces. Here and there. In my mind.
Writing it down, sequentially, really helped in reflecting on everything that happened. And how I was feeling.
There were a lot of tears. There were a flood of words.
Letting it all out was so healing for me.
I hope it brings you healing too.
